The Story Behind This Journey
I have always been fascinated by the idea of building a business that genuinely helps people while allowing me to grow. To me, the hospitality industry was the perfect place to achieve this—a space where personal growth directly translates into making someone else’s day better.
As a student, I had to be practical. With limited funds, I needed to start with something that didn’t require a massive initial investment. I know the travel industry is crowded with massive booking sites, and it might seem impossible for a newcomer like me to succeed. But making excuses and doing nothing just isn’t who I am. I decided to take the leap anyway.
I noticed that in Japan, there aren’t many businesses where locals personally guide travelers—especially true locals guiding international visitors. The spark for this business plan actually came to me during my trip to Kenya, where I experienced the power of local connection firsthand.
While my English is still a work in progress, I am studying hard every day. My ultimate goal is to create an experience that leaves every guest thinking, “I’m so glad I chose this.”
I am just a 20-year-old at the very beginning of my journey, having accomplished nothing yet—but I am ready to give it my all. I would be incredibly grateful for your support.
