Many of Sapporo’s legendary, must-visit restaurants are actually located outside the city center. It’s very common to find out too late that a place you wanted to visit is only accessible by car or taxi. Planning your transport in advance is crucial.

While the Susukino area is packed with countless Izakayas and restaurants, many of them cater strictly to uninformed tourists.
